The music ministry at St. Luke Catholic Church is composed of singers and instrumentalists who use their talent to glorify God and inspire the faithful through music. Music ministers are responsible for music at all three weekend liturgies in addition to all solemnities,
Christmas and Holy Week liturgies.

The ministry seeks to intelligently foster religious singing by the
faithful as well present music of beauty, dignity, depth, mystery,
nuance and expression that reflects the solemn character of the
liturgy.

We have two choirs at St. Luke's:

Parish Choir
The Parish Choir is made up of approximately 30 committed singers
including adults and high school students. This choir rehearses once
a week on Thursday evenings and sings at one liturgy each weekend.

The Parish Choir also sings on Christmas Eve and for the Paschal
Triduum liturgies during Holy Week. Additionally, the choir presents
an annual concert of anthems in the late spring. New members are
always welcome.

Youth Choir
The Youth Choir is a group of about 20 children grades 3 through 8.
The choir rehearses every Thursday evening and sings approximately one liturgy per month. New members are also always welcome to join the youth choir.

Instrumentalists are utilized at every liturgy at St. Luke's and
include pianists, guitarists, harpists, winds, and strings. Larger
ensembles are assembled for liturgies at Christmas and during Holy
Week.

The music ministry is always looking to include more singers and
